We are pleased and excited to announce our 2nd Annual Nursing Research Conference scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2013, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine! Our theme this year is Inquiring Minds: Building Healthy Work Environments: Clinicians and Educators Working Together to Promote Quality, Safety, and Evidence Based Practice. We are honored to have as our keynote speaker Sue Goran, RN, MSN, Operations Director of MaineHealth VitalNetwork and Nursing Director of the Special Care Units at Maine Medical Center! Sue is a popular international speaker and author on critical care, telemedicine, and healthy work environment topics. Be watching for the Call for Abstracts soon!

Our first annual nursing research conference, Promoting Quality and Safety through Evidence-Based Practice Across the Practice Continuum: Implications for Students through Advanced Nursing Practice is now in the books! The presentations inspired great discussion, and all in attendance agreed it was a great success! Look for information on next year's conference in the near future!
